ParkStAug is a mobile app that allows users to pay, extend, and manage their parking sessions with ease. The app provides a quick and secure way to pay for parking using a smartphone, eliminating the need to feed a meter or refill it in the rain. Users can also receive email receipts at the end of their parking session and manage their parking history through the app. The app also alerts users when their parking session is about to end, eliminating the need to worry about how much time is left on the meter.
ParkStAug also provides users with information on when parking rates will change in the future, even when there is free parking available. This feature ensures that users are not surprised by any price changes. Additionally, the app allows users to add time to their parking session directly from their phone, making it easy to extend their parking session if their plans change.
To get started with ParkStAug, users need to download the app, park where they see ParkStAug app signs, pay for their parking session from their phone, and relax. The app is constantly updated based on user feedback, ensuring that it meets the needs of its users.
It is important to note that persons with a disabled parking permit or license plate are exempt from parking fees in City of St. Augustine metered parking spaces, in accordance with section 316.1964, Florida Statutes. This exemption applies to all metered parking spaces in the city, and users with a disabled parking permit or license plate do not need to use the ParkStAug app to park in these spaces.
